[origin: WO2014191684A1] The invention concerns a bed (10) comprising a hinged bed base (12) comprising different articulated parts (14) forming a sleeping surface (16) intended to receive a mattress, the bed comprising a first lower frame (18) with floor supports (20), said lower frame making it possible to raise, lower or tilt the hinged bed base (12) relative to the ground, the bed further comprising a second upper frame (22) interposed between the lower frame (18) and the hinged bed base (12), this upper frame supporting the hinged bed base (12), and the bed extending along a longitudinal central axis (L10) between the foot (24) of the bed and the head (26) of the bed, the bed (10) being characterised in that the upper frame (22) is mounted in translation along the longitudinal central axis (L10) on the lower frame (18).

L'objet de l'invention est un lit (10) comprenant un sommier articulé (12) comprenant différentes parties articulées (14) formant une surface de couchage (16) destinée à recevoir un matelas, le lit comprenant un premier châssis inférieur (18) avec des appuis au sol (20), ce châssis inférieur permettant d'élever, d'abaisser ou d'incliner le sommier articulé (12) par rapport au sol, le lit comprenant en outre un deuxième châssis supérieur (22) intercalé entre le châssis inférieur (18) et le sommier articulé (12), ce châssis supérieur supportant le sommier articulé (12), et le lit s'étendant le long d'un axe central longitudinal (L10) entre un pied de lit (24) et une tête de lit (26), le lit (10) étant caractérisé en ce que le châssis supérieur (22) est monté en translation le long de l'axe central longitudinal (L10) sur le châssis inférieur (18).
