Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2808475A1] A hydraulic hinge for a glass door has a fixing plate (10), a rotating seat (20), a pivot (30) and a buffer module (40). The rotating seat (20) is combined with the fixing plate (10) by the pivot (30) and has a first oil passage (23) and a second oil passage (24). The buffer module (40) is mounted in the rotating seat (20) and has a valve (41) having a circular groove (48) selectively communicating with the second oil passage (24). A glass door 60 can be pivoted relative to the rotating seat (20). The valve (41) is structurally simple, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process. With the valve (41) and the second oil passage (24), the velocity of closing the glass door (60) gradually increases from low speed to high speed.
