[origin: WO2013113052A1] The invention relates to a press (1) with a C-shaped frame (2), comprising a first linear motor (9) in a central section (2a) of the C-shaped frame (2), said first linear motor (9) facing away from a pressing point and acting on the section (2a) between two spaced-apart attachment points. The press additionally comprises a second linear motor (10) in the central section (2a), said linear motor facing the pressing point and acting on the section (2a) between two spaced-apart attachment points. The linear motors (9, 10) are provided for mirror-inverted controlling in such a way that the C-shaped frame (2) is prevented from springing up.
