[origin: EP2810910A1] In an elevator apparatus, an upper portion wind-rectifying cover is disposed on an upper portion of a car. A rectangular wind-rectifying plate is disposed above a front surface of a cage. An upper portion wind-rectifying cover includes: a wind-rectifying cover main body; and a wind-rectifying cover linking portion that is disposed between the wind-rectifying cover main body and the wind-rectifying plate. An external shape of the wind-rectifying cover main body is a streamlined shape that widens gradually downward from an upper end. The wind-rectifying cover linking portion includes a semi-tubular portion in which a cross section parallel to the front surface of the cage is constant in a depth direction of the cage.
