Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2624428A1] The source has an intermediate circuit (3) provided with an intermediate circuit voltage i.e. safe voltage, so that the circuit is connected to a power supply voltage over the direct current-direct current converter (2) i.e. resonance converter. Output switching regulators (1n, 11-13) e.g. downward switching regulators, are attached to the intermediate circuit to provide regulated output voltages (Out1-Outn) at an output side. A measurement value of the circuit voltage is supplied to a controlling unit to limit the circuit voltage to predetermined lower and upper values. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a power source.
