[origin: WO2013120702A1] The inkjet printer for labeling goods has a main device (20), which has at least one outlet opening (26), at least one reservoir (40) for a liquid that flows through the outlet opening (26), wherein the reservoir (40) is detachably connected to the main device (20), a liquid coupling, which has a first coupling part (52) on the main device (20) and a second coupling part (50) on the reservoir (40), and a mechanical coupling, which has a first coupling means (66) on the main device (20) and a second coupling means (68) on the reservoir (40). The reservoir (40) has an annular transponder (60), which has an annular second antenna (58) that extends around the second coupling part (50) and a control unit (62) in which data about the liquid contained in the reservoir (40) are stored.
