Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013124323A1] The invention relates to a low-band antenna (12) capable of operating in a first frequency band centered on a first so-called low frequency, comprising at least one first radiating element (14), capable of being positioned on a high-band array antenna (16) which operates in a second frequency band centered on a second so-called high frequency, said high frequency being strictly greater than said low frequency, so as to form a dual frequency-band antenna system (10), said high-band array antenna (16) comprising an array of second radiating elements (18), each outputting electromagnetic radiation. Each first radiating element (14) comprises cutouts (24), the shape of which depends on the shape of the second radiating elements (18), the shape of the cutouts being determined so as to propagate the electromagnetic radiation of each second radiating element without interference, thereby enabling the high-band array antenna (16) to operate without interference in said second frequency band in the presence or absence of the low-band antenna. The invention further relates to an associated dual frequency-band antenna system.
