[origin: EP2818090A1] Disclosed herein is a dish washing machine (1) having a sump assembly including a sump housing (150, 300) including a water storage chamber (151, 310) to store wash water and a sidewall portion (154, 303) and a bottom portion (155, 301), the sidewall portion (154, 303) and the bottom portion (155, 301) defining the water storage chamber (151, 310), a fine filter (120, 320) arranged at an upper portion of the sump housing (150, 300) and provided with an opening (123, 322) allowing the washing tub (12) and the water storage chamber (151, 310) to communicate with each other therethrough, a coarse filter (110, 340) formed in a cylindrical shape and mounted on the opening (123, 322), and a microfilter (130, 330) mounted in the water storage chamber (151, 310) to define a dirt catching chamber (152, 311) for catching of dirt in conjunction with one part of the sidewall portion (154, 303) and one part of the bottom portion (155, 301) of the sump housing (150, 300), the microfilter (130, 330) being formed in a flat shape.
