Abstract (en)
The tubular patch comprises a first end part (7), a second end part (8), and an intermediate part (9) intermediate the first and second end parts. The intermediate part has a thickness (ti) being smaller than that of the first and second parts so that when pressurised fluid is forced towards the intermediate part, the intermediate part is expanded. The invention furthermore relates to a patch setting tool for sealing off an opening in a weak part of a casing in a well, a downhole patch setting system and a patch setting method.
