[origin: WO2013132170A1] The invention concerns a tool (10) for crimping and trimming the edges a bonnet (12) of a vehicle using a press, of the type that has a punch (18) in order to shape the bonnet (12), characterised in that the punch (18) comprises a fixed front part (22) delimiting a first transversal front die (26) for trimming a first front edge (28) of the bonnet (12) with an undercut, a second longitudinal side die (30a) and a third longitudinal side die (30b) for trimming a second side edge (32a) and third side edge (32b) of the bonnet (12) with an undercut respectively, and a rear part (24) that extends transversally behind the front part (22) and which is mounted to move longitudinally from back to front, from a working position in which the rear part (24) and the front part (22) of the punch (18) are arranged to form the bonnet (12), and a decapping position in which the rear part (24) is moved towards the front part (22) in order to make it possible to remove the bonnet (12) from the punch (18).
