[origin: WO2013131921A1] The invention relates to a method for filling a container (10) with a liquid. In said method, the container is filled via an opening (10a) of the container (10) and an internal volume of the container (10) increases during the filling process and the internal volume of the filled volume is at least twice the volume of the unfilled container (10). The invention further relates to a device for filling containers, and a container (10) comprising an opening (10a), a base region (10b), and a main body (10c) integrally formed with the opening (10a) and the base region (10b), the main body (10c) being bent by a specified bending angle around a specified circumferential folding edge (10d) of the main body in such a way that the opening of the container (10) is arranged closer to the base region (10b) than the circumferential folding edge (10d) is, characterized in that the position of the folding edge (10d) relative to the base region (10b) of the container (10) can be changed during an expansion of the container (10).
