Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2014082649A1] A high-pressure valve (1) has a locking element (4) between a high-pressure area (2) and a low-pressure area (3), which locking element can be moved between a closed position and an open position. To create a seal in the closed position, a seat gasket radially abutting against the locking element is provided, which gasket is arranged in an inner-wall recess of the high-pressure valve housing and abuts against the locking element in the closed position. The seat gasket is surrounded by a flexible element likewise provided in the recess, wherein the recess has a tapered area in the region adjacent to the locking element, by means of which a contact section of the seat gasket radially abuts against the locking element and is secured in the recess by the wider region, wherein the gasket forms an annular gap, particularly a wedge-shaped annular gap, together with the inner wall of the recess on the face turned away from the locking element, into which annular gap the flexible element is pressed, by pressure on the high-pressure side when the closed position is reached, whereby the contact section of the seat gasket is pressed against the locking element.
