A domestic appliance door (1), particularly an oven door, comprises a pivoting handle (10-12) that is mounted on an edge side and has a handle fixture (10) and a handle element (12) provided on said handle fixture (10), the handle fixture (10) covering at least one open side of at least one chamber (32, 33) of the domestic appliance door (1), and the handle fixture (10) being a handle fixture (10) according to one of the preceding claims.
