Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013135303A1] The invention relates to a screw press for producing oils, comprising a housing (1) having a circular cylindrical cross-section, wherein a filling opening (4) is arranged in the region of a first end of the housing (1), a discharge opening (8) for solids is arranged on a second end of the housing (1), and oil outlet openings are arranged in a predetermined region (B) between the filling opening (4) and the discharge opening (8), the discharge opening (8) being arranged in a baffle plate (7), and a screw (2) is rotatably mounted in the housing (1) for conveying and pressing material to be pressed. The screw press should be improved so that even with fine-grained material for grinding it has less tendency to clogging of the oil outlet openings. This is achieved in that the oil outlet openings are formed as slots (6) which extend parallel to a longitudinal axis of the housing (1) and have a cross-section having, when viewed outward from the interior, widths which vary in steps, wherein a smaller one of the widths is assigned to an inner face of the housing (1).
