The shrink frame has multiple heating units (4) for heating the shrink film for the shrinking process. The heating units are distributed over the periphery of the shrink frame. Side walls (11) are provided below the cover plate and extends along the goods stack. An independent claim is included for a method for the shrink coating of a shrink film on a goods stack.
