[origin: WO2015010905A1] The invention relates to an electrode (1, 100) for machining a workpiece, wherein the electrode (1, 100) has an end section (4, 24) which points towards the workpiece (50), wherein at least one abrasive, chip-forming cutting material (21) and a material (22) which is suitable for thermal removal, in particular spark erosion removal, is provided in the end section (4, 24), with the result that, during machining of the workpiece by way of the electrode (1, 100), at least an abrasive, chip-forming removal and a thermal, non-mechanical removal of the workpiece (50) are possible at the same time. The invention further relates to three methods for producing such an electrode.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Elektrode (1,100) zur Bearbeitung eines Werkstücks, wobei die Elektrode (1,100) einen zu dem Werkstück (50) weisenden Endabschnitt (4,24) aufweist, wobei im Endabschnitt (4,24) zumindest ein abrasiver, spanender Schneidstoff (21) sowie ein zu einem funkenerosiven Abtrag geeignetes Material (22) vorgesehen ist, so dass bei einer Bearbeitung des Werkstücks durch die Elektrode (1,100) zumindest ein abrasiver, spanender Abtrag als auch ein funkenerosiver, nichtmechanischer Abtrag des Werkstücks (50) gleichzeitig möglich ist. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin drei Verfahren zum Herstellen einer solchen Elektrode.
