Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013149954A1] The invention relates to an injection nozzle for injecting media into a combustion chamber, in particular fuel into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, comprising a nozzle body (4), the nozzle tip (15) of which having the spray holes protrudes into the combustion chamber (17), a heat protection sleeve (2), which is arranged in the end area of the nozzle body (4) on the combustion chamber side and which surrounds the nozzle body (4), wherein the injection nozzle (1) is inserted into an accommodating hole (7) of a retaining part, in particular a cylinder head (3), wherein the end area of the nozzle body (4) on the combustion chamber side interacts with the accommodating hole (7), the heat protection sleeve (2) being arranged therebetween. The heat protection sleeve (2) has a first and a second area, which are arranged at an axial distance from each other and which each have sealing surfaces (5, 6, 10, 11) that each interact in a sealing manner with an annular seat surface (8, 9) extending in a radial plane or with a cone-shaped seat surface (12, 13) of the accommodating hole (7) or of the nozzle body (4).
