[origin: DE102012006892B3] The projectile (1) has a solid head part (2), and a tube-shaped tail unit body (3) connected to the head part. The body is designed such that propellant gases produced during firing of the projectile work on an outer side (5) of the body. The outer side has an annular groove (8), and a guiding band (9) is arranged in the recess. The guiding band has rod-shaped guiding elements that are arranged at a distance from each other in a circumferential direction. Recesses are formed between the guiding elements for axial passage of the gases, and a sealing system is arranged in the head part. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a full caliber-training projectile.
