Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2013153296A1] This separator, which employs eddy currents, comprises: an endless belt (2) provided in order to transport the mixture as far as a sorting section (22); rotating drums (3, 4) around which the endless belt (2) runs; and a multipolar magnetic rotor (7) driven in rotation in order to generate an alternating inductive magnetic field. The sorting section (22) is shifted relative to each rotating drum (3, 4) along the path of the endless belt (2). The magnetic rotor (7) is placed externally to each rotating drum (3, 4). The path of the endless belt (2) comprises an unloading zone (24) that follows the sorting section (22).
