Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2013153102A1] The invention relates to a radial bearing (1) with a bearing body (2) which has a receiving space (3) for a shaft (4) to be arranged in the bearing body (2). The bearing body (2) has an inner wall (5) which faces the receiving space (3) and in which transverse grooves (7) are formed, said grooves running in the axial direction (10) and being separated from one another in the circumferential direction (6) by separating portions (8), and a radial supply channel (9) is formed in at least one such separating portion (8). At least one oil pocket (13) which is spaced from the corresponding supply channel (9) is formed in at least one of the separating portions (8) in order to reduce the wear of the radial bearing (1) or to increase the service life of the radial bearing (1).
