[origin: WO2013153184A1] The control of an energy management installation includes a phase (P1) of modeling the installation, comprising a step (E1) of preparing a multi-agent control system including at least energy consuming, energy distributing and energy producing agents. The models of the energy distributing agents take into account the characteristics pertaining to the distributing elements of the installation, including the energy distribution and/or consumption constraints, and/or the financial and/or environmental distribution costs, and/or the influence of the operation of the distributing elements on the operation of the producing elements. The control also includes a phase (P2) of regulating the installation, comprising an optimization step (E10) using the models integrated in the agents in order to optimize the manner of producing energy by the producing agents, to distribute same by the distribution agents, and to allocate same to the consuming agents, depending on the optimization criteria based on the energy consumption of the installation and/or on at least one criterion such as the cost of operation and/or the environmental cost of the installation and/or weather predictions and/or comfort parameters and/or the behavior observed in and/or expected from the users of the installation.
