Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013152841A1] The invention relates firstly to a current-conducting connector (24) for electrical components (20) having at least one metal part (26) which is surrounded in some regions with an insulation (27). According to the invention the metal part is designed as a contact carrier plate (26) which is provided with at least one receptacle (28). In each case a pin-like contact (23) can be guided perpendicular to the contact carrier plate (26), wherein the contact carrier plate (26) is surrounded up to the receptacle by an insulating sheath (27). The invention also relates to a method for producing a current-conducting connector (24), in which contact carrier plates (26) are stamped into and/or etched out of a metal strip. The metal strip is rolled out, the strip is introduced into an injection moulding tool and the contact carrier plate (26) is overmoulded with a plastic, in particular a thermoplastic elastomer, and then the different contact carrier plates (26) with insulating sheath (27) are cut out as required from the metal strip.
