Abstract (en)
The object of the invention is a method and apparatus for glue application by means of glue nozzles onto a paper wrapper for wrapping the segments of a continuous multi-segment filter rod on a tobacco industry machine for manufacturing multi-segment filter rods, whereas the multi-segment rods are formed by cutting the segments of the continuous multi-segment filter rod, characterised in that by means of a swirl nozzle a glue line is formed, whereas the track of the path extends along the paper wrapper, and at least one broken line glue path is formed along the paper wrapper, whereas the glue sections of the broken line glue path are placed at the anchorage points of at least one of the filter segments which are to be cut.
