Since the isolating switch in an embodiment of the present invention uses an arc ignition device, using an elastic member to drive an arc ignition rod into contact with an arc ignition plate, burning due to arcing will not occur between the static contact and contact fingers during the opening and closing operations, so safe operation of the electrical system can be guaranteed.
