[origin: WO2013163044A1] An exercise system that stimulates outdoor terrain includes a base frame including a treadbase. The treadbase is selectively rotatable about a first and second axis. A ball joint connection assembly pivotably connects the treadbase to the base frame and enables the rotation of the treadbase about the first and second rotation axis. A plurality of lift mechanisms may be used to selectively rotate the treadbase about the first and second axis.
