[origin: WO2013160094A1] The invention relates to a plate cylinder (07) having a channel (13), in which a clamping device (21; 61) is located, the clamping device having a radially outer clamping element (22; 62) with a fixed position relative to a base element (37; 71) of the clamping device, and having at least one contact element (23; 63) which is located radially further inwards than the radially outer clamping element. According to the invention the clamping device has an actuating element (24; 64), by means of which the at least one contact element can be moved at least partially in relation to the radially outer clamping element at least in and/or counter to a clamping direction and the clamping device has at least two contact elements. The actuating element is located between the at least two contact elements in the circumferential direction in relation to the plate cylinder and a contraction of the at least two contact elements in relation to at least the clamping direction can be brought about by the activation of the actuating element at least by an extension of said actuating element in a direction running perpendicularly to an axial direction (A) with regard to the plate cylinder and perpendicularly to the clamping direction (B;C).
