[origin: WO2013160358A1] The invention relates to a roll for a pressing section of a machine for producing and/or refining a fibrous material web such as a paper, board or tissue machine, said roll comprising a roll body or roll shell as well as a roll cover that is arranged on said roll body or roll shell and has at least one functional layer which is suitable for being brought into contact with the fibrous material web or a paper machine clothing. Said functional layer consists of a polymer that is a mixture of at least one prepolymer, one curing agent, one crosslinking agent and one additive.
