[origin: US2015059324A1] An exhaust manifold for a combustion engine of a motor vehicle includes a two-shell construction comprised of an outer system and an inner system. A flange is positioned at a side proximal to a cylinder head of the combustion engine for installation to the combustion engine, and an insulation sleeve connects the inner system with the flange and the outer system. The insulation sleeve is sized to extend through an opening of the flange and to project beyond the flange into the cylinder head of the combustion engine.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Abgaskrümmer (1) für einen Verbrennungsmotor an einem Kraftfahrzeug, wobei der Abgaskrümmer (1) zweischalig aus einem Außensystem (5) und einem Innensystem (6) ausgebildet ist, wobei zylinderkopfseitig ein Flansch (3) vorgesehen ist, der mit dem Verbrennungsmotor koppelbar ist, wobei der Abgaskrümmer (1) dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass eine Isolationshülse (4) vorgesehen ist, die das Innensystem (6) mit dem Flansch (3) und dem Außensystem (5) koppelt, wobei die Isolationshülse (4) eine Öffnung (10) des Flansches (3) durchgreift und über den Flansch (3) überstehend in den Zylinderkopf des Verbrennungsmotors ragt.
