[origin: CA2872074A1] The invention relates to a lighting unit comprising a first module (1) and at least one second module (1), each of which comprises a plurality of LEDs (3) which are distributed over a module surface. The modules (1) are arranged on at least one heat sink (2) in order to dissipate lost heat. The lighting unit also comprises a reflector (5). Light emitted by one of the modules (1) is deflected by the reflector (5, 5a, 5b) into an outlet opening (6) of the lighting unit, wherein an optical unit (8, 9, 11, 12) is provided between at least some of the LEDs (3) and the outlet opening (6), and the light of the LEDs (3) is bundled into a defined structure in a target surface (10) by means of said optical unit.
