[origin: CA2863345A1] The invention relates to a method for precision cutting of workpieces using a press which consists of a press frame, in the press opening of which press frame a press ram, that works against a press table, is movably driven, wherein at least one of the press tools is formed as a cutting tool that consists of a cutting punch, a downholder, a cutting die and a counter support, wherein the cutting tool operates as a precision cutting tool, the lower tool part of which consists of a controlled retaining module that retains the counter support in a certain press ram position in order to enable ejecting the scrap.

Verfahren zum Präzisionsschneiden von Werkstücken mit einer Presse (1), die aus einem Pressengestell (2) besteht, in dessen Pressenöffnung (3) ein Pressenstößel (4) bewegbar angetrieben ist, der gegen einen Pressentisch (7) arbeitet, wobei mindestens eines der Pressenwerkzeug (8, 12; 9, 13; 10, 14; 11, 15; 17) als Schneidwerkzeug ausgebildet ist, das aus einem Schneidstempel (19), einem Niederhalter (20) einer Schneidmatrize (22) und einem Gegenhalter (24) besteht, wobei das Schneidwerkzeug als Präzisionsschneidwerkzeug (17) arbeitet, dessen Werkzeugunterteil (15) aus einem gesteuerten Rückhaltemodul (34) besteht, das den Gegenhalter (24) in einer bestimmten Pressenstellung zurück hält, um ein Auswerfen des Abfalls (23) zu ermöglichen.
