Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015043878A1] The invention relates to a treatment device with a negative-pressure chamber for medical and/or cosmetic therapy. It serves to receive the lower half of a person's body and to subject the latter to a defined pulsating negative pressure. The pulsating negative pressure stimulates the blood flow and relieves congestion of the lymph vessels. The negative-pressure chamber is designed as a tube and has, on a front face, an admission opening, which is sealed off from the trunk by means of a closure element. A first part of a lying surface is arranged in the interior of the horizontally oriented negative-pressure chamber. Outside the negative-pressure chamber, a second part of the lying surface is located as a continuation of the first part. In order to create a treatment device that can in particular also be readily used by patients with restricted movement, it is proposed that both the first part and also the second part of the lying surface are each guided longitudinally in the same direction on a linear guide, wherein the first part can be moved at least partially out of the negative-pressure chamber and the second part can be moved away from the admission opening, and the treatment device has a synchronization between the first part and the second part of the lying surface, which synchronization is such that it allows the first and second parts of the lying surface to be moved at the same speed in the same direction.
