[origin: WO2013174368A1] The invention relates to an element for forming a covering, in particular a floor covering, composed of such elements which can be connected to one another at their edges, comprising a first panel (1) which forms a visible surface and which is connected, on the side thereof facing away from the visible surface, to a second panel (3) via a foamed-on or injected layer (2), characterized in that the second panel (3) can be more greatly loaded in tension than the first panel (1). The connecting layer preferably penetrates through openings (6) in the second panel (3) and forms three-dimensional, where appropriate, deformable standing points.
