Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2013174808A1] An input device (10) for a logographic script comprises a keyboard portion (13), a screen portion (20) and a control unit comprising a processor, connected to the keyboard portion (13) for receiving input signals and a screen portion (12) for display of outputted signals. The keyboard comprises a plurality of touch points (15) and the control unit is adapted to accept separate input signals through actuating the separate touch points (15) and creates an output signal based on the actuated touch points (15). Here the control unit is further adapted to represent on the screen portion (12) vector information connecting points of an array of at least three times three pixels, wherein the vector information is generated through subsequent actuation of the same or different touch points (15). Furthermore the keyboard comprises on the left and/or right edge side surface adjacent to the top surface (19) at least one thumb touch point (25) and/or little finger touch point (35), adapted for entering a language structure element or a keyboard control element.
