[origin: EP2853850A1] A compression apparatus in the present invention includes a compressor including a cylinder for compressing a gas, a gas cooler for cooling the gas compressed in the cylinder, and a circulation passage for guiding the gas compressed in the cylinder into the gas cooler. The gas cooler is diffusion bonded to the cylinder. In order to reduce the size of the compression apparatus, the circulation passage extends through an area in which the gas cooler and the cylinder face each other. At least areas surrounding the area are diffusion bonded.
