[origin: US2015061818A1] A temperature-dependent switch arranged with a housing has a temperature-dependent switching mechanism comprising a snap-action disc, on which at least one outer contact region and at least one inner contact region are provided. A movable contact part held on the inner contact region interacts with a first contact surface connected to a first external connection on an upper part of the housing. The at least one outer contact region is connected at least in sections permanently to a second contact surface connected to a second external connection on a lower part of the housing. The snap-action disc lifts off the movable contact part from the first contact surface depending on the temperature of the switching mechanism. The snap-action disc has at least one compensation section between the at least one outer contact region and the at least one inner contact region.

Ein temperaturabhängiger Schalter (10) weist ein temperaturabhängiges Schaltwerk (11) und ein das Schaltwerk (11) aufnehmendes Gehäuse (12) auf, das ein Oberteil (14) mit einem ersten Außenanschluss (21) sowie ein Unterteil (15) mit einem zweiten Außenanschluss (33) umfasst, wobei an einer Innenseite (23) des Oberteils (14) eine mit dem ersten Außenanschluss (21) in Verbindung stehende erste Kontaktfläche (38) und innen in dem Unterteil (15) eine mit dem zweiten Außenanschluss (33) in Verbindung stehende zweite Kontaktfläche (39) vorgesehenen sind, wobei das Schaltwerk (11) eine Schnappscheibe (26) umfasst, an der zumindest ein äußerer Kontaktbereich (41) und zumindest ein innerer Kontaktbereich (36) vorgesehen sind, an dem ein bewegliches Kontaktteil (25) gehalten ist, das mit der ersten Kontaktfläche (38) zusammenwirkt, wobei der zumindest eine äußere Kontaktbereich (41) zumindest abschnittsweise dauerhaft mit der zweiten Kontaktfläche (39) verbunden ist, und wobei die Schnappscheibe (26) das bewegliche Kontaktteil (25) in Abhängigkeit von der Temperatur des Schaltwerkes (11) von der ersten Kontaktfläche (38) abhebt. Die Schnappscheibe (26) weist zwischen dem zumindest einen äußeren Kontaktbereich (41) und dem zumindest einen inneren Kontaktbereich (36) zumindest einen Ausgleichsabschnitt (42, 44) auf (Fig. 1).
