Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2013174950A1] Scalp protection means for applying flowable hair treatment agents, in which, according to the invention, a first set (1) of tines which projects in a comb-like manner from a first web (3) and has tines which run substantially parallel to one another is provided, wherein a covering element which constricts the free space between the tines in an adjustable manner is provided. The invention therefore provides a mechanical barrier which is inserted into the hair at the point which is to be treated and remains there during the treatment period. Since, according to the invention, a covering element which constricts the free space between the teeth in an adjustable manner is provided, the covering element can initially be selected such that the free space is increased in size and simple insertion into the hair is possible. Subsequently, the covering element can be adjusted such that the free space is constricted and the scalp is completely covered, apart from those regions in which the individual hairs, which are oriented in the free space between the tines, pass through. Furthermore, different designs of the covering element are proposed.
