Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013178482A1] The invention relates to a track segment (1) for a ride having a vehicle (2), said track segment being divided into a first (BA1) and a second block segment (BA2). The first block segment (BA1) has a first (4) and a second high point (6) and ends at the second high point (6). The second block segment (BA2) begins at the second high point (6). In the first block segment (BA1), a first linear drive (7) is arranged before the first high point (4) and a second linear drive (8) is arranged between the first (4) and the second high point (6). The invention is characterized in that the positions of the high points (4, 6) relative to each other and the design of the linear drives (7, 8) are coordinated with each other in such a way that the vehicle (2) can be brought to a standstill in the first block segment (BA1) if a release for the entry into the second block segment (BA2) is not present. The invention further relates to a method for driving through the track segment. In said method, the direction of travel of the vehicle (2) is changed if the second block segment (BA2) is not released for entry. The invention further relates to a ride, comprising a control device and a measuring device, which is operatively connected to the control device and which evaluates the behavior of the passengers of the vehicle (2) and/or of the spectators.
