[origin: WO2013178680A1] The invention relates to a filter device (1), particularly for a motor vehicle, having: - a filter housing (2); - a housing cover (3) mounted on the filter housing (2) and having a housing cover discharge opening (4); - a filter element (5) which is connectable or connected to the housing cover (3), has a filter element discharge opening (6) and separates a dirty side (7) from a clean side (8) in the filter housing (2) when mounted in the filter housing (2); - a closure element (9) which is or can be attached to the housing cover (3), and closes off both the housing cover discharge opening (4) and the filter element discharge opening (6) when attached to the housing cover (3); - wherein the closure element (9) has a first radial seal (12) by means of which the closure element (9), when attached to the housing cover (3), seals off the dirty side (7) from the clean side (8) in the filter element discharge opening (6).
