[origin: WO2013177602A1] The invention relates to a spring hinge for spectacles, having: a bearing fork (1) for a hinge part (2) forming a hinge shaft (3); a guiding head (6) for the hinge part (2), which is provided between the two fork arms (8) of the bearing fork (1) and can be mounted on a spectacle part (7); and, on the side of the guiding head (6) facing a way from the hinge shaft (3), a helical spring (13) movable between the guiding head (6) and the hinge part (2) relative to the guiding head (6). In order to create simple design conditions, according to the invention the section of the hinge part (2) that receives the helical spring (13) is formed as a hinge housing (11) and the guiding head (6) comprises a central piece (9) passing through the bearing fork (1) of the hinge part (2) between the two fork arms (8) and forming a pivot axis for the hinge housing (11), the central piece having lateral guide flanges (10) surrounding the fork arms on (8) both sides.
