[origin: WO2013179182A2] The present invention concerns a control and management unit (1) for apparatus of the battery-charger (2) type which comprises an amperometric detector (3) fitted downstream of the energy meter (4) installed by the electricity utility supplier and a command processor (5) of the apparatus of the type of a battery charger (2), wherein the processor (5) is connected to the power mains downstream of the amperometric detector (3) and has an input (6) for a signal coming from an output terminal (7) of the. amperometric detector (3) itself. The signal is defined by the value of the current instantaneously dispensed downstream of the meter (4).
