[origin: EP2857627A1] The invention relates to a roller shutter slat (1) roll-formed from a coated aluminum strip to a hollow body profile having a male upper end (2) and a female lower end (3) for engagement with one or more other slats (1). According to the invention, the male upper end (2) is provided in longitudinal direction with at least two spacing elements (4) projecting from the outline of the male upper end (2). The invention further relates to a method for producing a roller shutter slat (1).
