Abstract (en)
A visual alarm device for a bus connected alarm system, comprising: at least one visual alarm element for emitting a visual alarm signal; the visual alarm signal having a minimum luminous flux level within one of a plurality of predetermined alarm regions of a given dimension, at least one controller (27) for controlling the visual alarm element so as to emit the visual alarm signal in response to an electric alarm signal supplied through a bus (23); a storage unit storing at least one each of operation setting values for the controller (27) to control the visual alarm element; each each of operation setting values being predefined depending on the dimensions of the predetermined alarm region.
