[origin: EP2674465A1] The adhesive tape comprises: a carrier material (1) with a top side, a bottom side and two longitudinal edges (1a, 1b), where the top side of the carrier material is coated with an adhesive (22, 23) and the bottom side of the carrier material is formed of non-adhesive configuration; and a double-sided adhesive tape (2) with a top side, a bottom side and two longitudinal edges. The double-sided adhesive tape: comprises a severable carrier material, which is coated on both sides with an adhesive; and is arranged on the bottom side of the carrier material. The adhesive tape comprises: a carrier material (1) with a top side, a bottom side and two longitudinal edges (1a, 1b), where the top side of the carrier material is coated with an adhesive (22, 23) and the bottom side of the carrier material is formed of non-adhesive configuration; and a double-sided adhesive tape (2) with a top side, a bottom side and two longitudinal edges. The double-sided adhesive tape: comprises a severable carrier material, which is coated on both sides with an adhesive; and is arranged on the bottom side of the carrier material in such a way that a part region of the double-sided adhesive tape protrudes from one longitudinal edge of the carrier material. The carrier material is formed by a paper carrier and a plastic carrier. The severable carrier material is formed by a splitting paper. The adhesive is a pressure-sensitive adhesive, preferably a water-soluble pressure-sensitive adhesive. A projecting part region (B) of the double-sided adhesive tape: forms a region extending parallel to the longitudinal edge of the carrier material; and has a width of 2-35 mm. A non-projecting part region (A) of the double-sided adhesive tape present at the bottom of the carrier material has a width of 1.5-20 mm. The adhesive is covered at the top and bottom sides of the severable carrier material with a strippable cover layer (52). The cover layer extends over the longitudinal edge of the carrier material so that the cover layer covers the upper surface of the protruding part region of the cleavable carrier material coated with the adhesive. The cover layer comprises a siliconized paper, and is provided with a slot. The slot is arranged at a distance of 10-30 mm from the longitudinal edge of the carrier material, which is opposite to the longitudinal edge on which the double-sided adhesive tape protrudes. The adhesive tape further comprises other band with a top side, a bottom side and two longitudinal edges, where the other band: comprises a carrier material that is arranged in an area of the other longitudinal edge of the carrier material at its underside and protrudes from the other longitudinal edge of the carrier material; is a double-sided adhesive band having a severable carrier material; and is only coated on one side to the carrier material with the adhesive.
