[origin: WO2013189699A1] The present invention relates to an antifouling additive, containing at least a) a modified or non-modified silicic acid, silicate or silica gel with a mean particle size d50 of 100-500 µm, b) a modified or non-modified silicic acid, silicate or silica gel with a mean particle size d50 of 20-70 µm and c) a modified or non-modified silicic acid, silicate or silica gel with a mean particle size d50 of <20 µm. The antifouling additive according to the invention is produced by mixing. Said antifouling additive can be used in paints.
