[origin: WO2013190188A1] The subject of the present invention is a fire stop flap valve system with sealing comprising a cage (1) in the form of a square or rectangular surround comprising two first opposed internal faces (1a) and two second opposed internal faces (1b) which are perpendicular to said first internal faces, said cage (1) within its internal space housing a flap (2) or, as appropriate, a row of a plurality of flaps (2) which are square or rectangular and pivot mounted on said second internal faces. The cage further comprises two first plates (3a) each extending across one of the second internal faces and the or each flap comprises two second plates (4a) each extending along one of the sides and able to collaborate, when the system is in the closed state, with one of said first plates or, as appropriate, one of the second plates of an adjacent flap, the purpose of this being to provide enhanced and durable sealing of the system in the closed state.
