The device and the method are provided with at least one temperature sensor (52, 54) for detecting the temperature (60) of the loosened tobacco (T*) and a fresh air transmission unit (21) used for transmitting fresh air (A) to process air and provided with a first volume flow regulator (36), wherein volume flow of the defined fresh air (A) can be influenced according to the detected temperature (60) of the loosened tobacco (T*).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung (2) und ein Verfahren zum Lösen von Tabakgut (T) in einer Prozesstrommel (4), wobei gelöstes Tabakgut (T*) mit einer bestimmten Temperatur aus dem Innenraum der Prozesstrommel (4) ausbringbar ist. Die Einrichtung (2) und das Verfahren sind dadurch weitergebildet, dass zumindest ein Temperatursensor (52, 54) zur Erfassung der Temperatur (60) des gelösten Tabakguts (T*) und eine Frischluftzufuhreinheit (21) zum Zuführen von Frischluft (A) zu der Prozessluft mit einem ersten Volumenstromregler (36) vorgesehen sind, wobei in Abhängigkeit von der erfassten Temperatur (60) des gelösten Tabakguts (T*) der eingestellte Volumenstrom an Frischluft (A) beeinflussbar ist.
