Abstract (en)

A clothing treatment device includes: a housing tub for housing clothing and a steam supply mechanism for injecting steam to the housing tub. The steam supply mechanism includes: a steam generator (420) having a wall surface which defines a chamber; a heater (425) for heating the wall surface; and a water supply mechanism for injecting water to the wall surface. The steam generator (420) includes: an inlet port into which the water from the water supply mechanism flows; and a discharge port from which the steam evaporated on the wall surface flows out. The inlet port and a connection tube (421) are connected to each other by a fixing member (450) away from the steam generator (420), and the discharge port and a discharge tube (422) are connected to each other by the fixing member (450) away from the steam generator (420). Due to such a constitution, steam can be efficiently supplied to clothing, and the connection tube (421) and the discharge tube (422) can be fixed to the vapor generator (420) so that thermal deformation and the thermal deterioration of the connection tube (421) and the discharge tube (422) can be suppressed.
