[origin: WO2014001492A1] The invention relates to a combination of a compact vacuum cleaner (1), which comprises a first dust extractor device (10), a fan for generating a stream of suction air through the first dust extractor device (10) and an electric motor (25) for driving the fan, and an upright vacuum cleaner frame (40). According to the invention, the compact vacuum cleaner (1) can be connected to the upright vacuum cleaner frame (40) to form a unit that can be operated as an upright vacuum cleaner and the compact vacuum cleaner (1) can be connected to the upright vacuum cleaner frame (40) in such a way that at least part of the stream of suction air generated by the fan can be conducted through a second dust extractor device. The invention also relates to a compact vacuum cleaner of this type and to a correspondingly designed upright vacuum cleaner frame. This allows the air filtration action and/or the suction performance to be improved during operation as an upright vacuum cleaner in comparison to the operation as a compact vacuum cleaner.
