[origin: WO2014000824A1] The invention relates to a high-pressure cleaning device (10; 120) comprising a motor pump unit (18), which has a motor (20) and a pump (22), wherein said pump (22) has a pump head comprising a first connecting element (26) and a second connecting element (28), said high-pressure cleaning device further comprising a housing (12), which encloses the motor pump unit (18). To allow maintenance work on the pump head (24) to be carried out more easily, the invention proposes that the housing (12) comprises a first housing part (14) and a second housing part (16), wherein the first housing part (14) has two half shells (34, 36), which together enclose the motor pump unit (18) in an area facing away from the pump head (24) in the circumferential direction, and on which the motor pump unit (18) is mounted, wherein the second housing part (16) is detachably connected to the first housing part (14) and forms a trough-like recess (62) into which the pump head (24) is inserted.
