[origin: WO2014001654A1] The invention relates to a tap device, in particular an electronic tap for a sink, which defines a water circuit between a water intake point and water outlet point, and which comprises a means for opening/closing the water circuit. The device comprises: a base (3), in particular for attachment to a basin; said base, the water circuit between the water intake and water outlet points and the opening/closing device being assembled into a so-called technical base element (1); a shell (2) which forms the outer casing of the tap, and which comprises a water inlet and a water outlet (21), the shell covering the technical element (1) such that the water outlet is located opposite the water outlet and the base is located opposite the water inlet.
